Olivia and Liam married in December 2023 at The Jackson Ranch by Bannisters. Bride Olivia shares their love story and highlights from their beautiful wedding.
We met through football. Liam played first grade and I played league tag for the same football club. I noticed him at a game. When we were at an after match function, I ordered wedges and all the boys ate my wedges and finished off my sour cream, but I was still eating and wanted more sour cream. Liam and I had never spoken before and he just jumped up and said “I will get you more sour cream” and I just thought that was so gentlemanly and I really fell for him from that day forward.
Our proposal was during our maternity shoot. I was heavily pregnant and 12 days off my due date. I did not want to go and definitely wanted to cancel the shoot as I was tired and sore. Little did I know Liam had been planning his proposal. It was perfect and even more perfect it was captured forever.

The Sperry tent. I really do think the Sperry tent made the atmosphere and vibe 100% better. Having different areas guests could go (especially because it was raining on our wedding day).
The photographer, Alana Taylor Photography, was the BEST decision we could have made. Her vibe, help and overall service was the incredible. Liam and I got our sneak peek photos and cried. They were PERFECT and exactly how we imagined them. It wasn’t just the photos we loved, it was how she managed the whole day and timeline as well as helping us pose for the photos and we didn’t feel awkward once. She definitely made it fun and carefree which is why I think the photos turned out so well, our laughter and love was genuine and she brought that out of us in the photo.
The wild Rose Florist from Moruya was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted, she was affordable and she was amazing on the day with our indecisiveness with the wet weather plan
Our celebrant, Teegan Loves Weddings, was also fantastic. Our guests rave on about how amazing she was during the ceremony and how genuine and well fitted she was to us. They never had a celebrant who made them laugh while also get the emotional feels.
Take a minute to enjoy every moment of the day. Do not wish the day away, I tried to be present and enjoy every moment rather than just thinking of the ceremony or the reception and wishing I was there. I took a step back and really enjoyed each moment of the day. From waking up and having breakfast with all the girls to going to bed as husband and wife, don’t be afraid to step back and look around, see all the faces, feel the air, smell the food and be present in that moment. The day goes so quick, enjoy EVERY bit!
